Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
MediBill Saver is designed so anyone dealing with a confusing medical bill can use it — including people who rely on screen readers, keyboards, high-contrast modes, or other assistive technology. We aim for conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we've done
- Full keyboard navigation, including the bill-upload zone (Tab to reach it, Enter or Space to open the file picker).
- Visible focus ring on every interactive element.
- A "Skip to main content" link that appears on the first Tab press.
- Semantic landmarks (
nav, main, footer) and heading hierarchy for screen-reader users. - Live region announcements when analysis progresses, payment verifies, or recovery succeeds or fails.
- Decorative icons are hidden from assistive tech; icon-only buttons have accessible labels.
- Color contrast meets WCAG AA for body text (4.5:1 minimum).
- Honors the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting — animations collapse to instant state changes. - Responsive layout that reflows at 200% zoom.
Known limitations
Bill analysis is performed by an AI (Google Gemini), which returns structured text. The drafted letters are plain text you can copy into any editor — screen readers handle them correctly. If you encounter a bill format the AI mis-parses, please tell us.
Report an issue or request an accommodation
If something blocks you from using MediBill Saver, please email accessibility@medibillsaver.com. Include the page you were on, the assistive technology you were using, and what you expected versus what happened. We aim to respond within two business days.
If you need your medical bill analyzed and this site is inaccessible to you, email the same address with the bill attached and we will run the analysis and reply with the results at no cost.
